SCHEDULE 일정 SUMMER 2026

PROGRAM ARC

Weekly focuses and reflections across five weeks in Seoul.

Week 1
  • Be a tourist. Embrace it. You are new here.
  • Observe the environment through your own lens. What do you notice? What draws your attention?
  • Learn the subway and bus systems.
  • Begin to understand Korean history and culture.
  • Eat well and adjust to the time difference.
Week 2
  • Explore more!
  • Begin translating what you have observed into form.
  • Collect, organize, and edit your material. What is worth keeping? What patterns are emerging?
  • Test how your observations can become structure, sequence, or system.
Week 3
  • Consider how design operates within different contexts.
  • What do you notice about how Korean designers approach form, material, and communication?
  • How does your work relate to what you are seeing? Where does it align or differ?
Week 4
  • Refine and clarify your ideas.
  • Synthesize your research, observations, and experiments into a cohesive direction.
  • Engage feedback seriously and push your work beyond initial expectations.
Week 5
  • Finalize your work with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Consider how your work will be experienced by others.
  • Take time to reflect on the program as a whole. What stayed with you? What shifted? And, of course, enjoy your final days in Seoul.
